Sump Pumps

During seasonal weather, Sump Pumps MUST be placed outside your home of business to prevent excess water from entering into the City's Sanitary Sewer System! Sump Pumps should outlet onto your lawn or vegetative area NOT onto City Streets or Sidewalks as it creates safety issues for vehicles and pedestrians. The only time a sump pump drain line is permitted to discharge into the sewer is during the winter when there are freezing temperatures.
