Safe Walkable Tyler Task Force

 

Beginning in October 2019, the City of Tyler paired with dedicated community members and other valuable partners met in an effort to make Tyler a more walkable community. From that day forward the SAFE WALKABLE TYLER TASK FORCE was formed. By December, the City was awarded a Safe Routes to School Planning grant and began working towards acquiring additional grants to better their efforts. The Task Force meets monthly and invites all community members to be apart of their mission to make Tyler a safer, healthier, and more walkable community for all to love and enjoy!
