Tyler Regional Economic Development (TRED)

The Tyler Regional Economic Development (TRED) board was created to promote and maintain economic growth for the City of Tyler. TRED takes an active role in helping to improve existing businesses and attracting new businesses to Tyler. TRED works with our community partners to provide technical and financial support for projects that will enhance the quality of life for local residents.

 

The TRED Board meets the third Wednesday of the month at 5:30 pm at the Tyler Fire Hall.  If you have an interest in a development project, please contact City Hall at (507) 247-5556 and we can put you on our next board agenda.

 

TRED Provides Assistance with:

Low interest rehabilitation loans for commercial properties
Tax Increment Financing

Access to state and local contacts and incentives
Customized research and information services
Site selection and assistance
Demolition of Residential Blight properties
